Hennie Shore, Owner of The Paperia
Following a career in writing and editing, the fun began over twenty years ago, when I started working at The Paperia – back when it was a retail storefront in Ardmore and Chestnut Hill. It was there that I put my creative writing skills to work, rekindling my love for paper, textures, patterns, and fonts: all the components involved in creating fabulous invitations and stationery.
It’s truly been my pleasure to help hundreds of couples find their “special brand of perfect,” from my initial question, “What do you have in mind?” to their actual final product – their ultimate, unique choice that sets the stage for their wedding day.
And my work is not just weddings! Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, birthday and every other kind of party, showers, engagements, save-the-dates, corporate events, birth announcements … I help customers sift through myriad options for invitations and announcements for any and every occasion.
Stationery options run the gamut from traditional engraved correspondence to the most fun and colorful cards, envelopes, liners and more.
I live on the Main Line, in Wynnewood, PA, with my dentist husband Jeff and two beautiful and loving Borzois, Charlotte and Fiona. My children, Andy and Robin, are also dentists. I am so fortunate that my children, along with their families, all live close by. My four grandchildren – Emily, Blake, Dylan, and Sloan – are my heart and my joy.
